Can't post to newsgroups

I'm using Outlook Express 6. When I post to a newsgroup, it appears to send, a copy appears in my "sent items" folder, and even after 24-48 hours it does not appear in the newsgroup. Help please?
 
Are you posting direct through the MS servers, or a third party one? Setup
your news account with msnews.microsoft.com as the server.
