Can't post questions here using IE but can using Firefox.

I tried to post a question to this forum Saturday using IE. I was able to
sign in but when I tried to post a question, I was unable to. I advised
Microsoft Online Customer Service. They suggested turning off the Pop-up
Blocker. I did. It didn't help.

They asked me specifically what OS I am using and where I got it. I said
WinXP Pro SP2 and Dell. They said "talk to Dell."

But since I have no trouble accessing this forum with Firefox, I thought I'd
try here first. How is it that I can't access an MS site with an MS product
but a non-MXS product works just fine?

Because Dell modifies the IE setup so that when you start IE, you get a
specific Start Page and/or Search page.

Dell has a terrible habit of installing IE Add-ons that redirect you in IE.
When you try and post, what happens?
Do you get an error?
What IE?

You know you can do this all from Outlook Express?

Because the web based interface sucks.

Use Outlook Express.

I'm having the same problem. I can 'reply' to a message but not ask a question.

I'm using the web based interface. My email handler is Outlook. I'll try
to get to this newsgroup with it.
