Windows XP machine with SP2

I can connect to the Internet but I'm unable to view Web pages in IE. The
connection appears to be working as i'm able to use Trace Route in a command
prompt window.

Using broadband connection with dynamic IP and DNS info set by ISP.

Any ideas anyone??

Virus and spyware scans draw a blank

I'm having what seems to be a similar problem to Paul, with IE6 on XP SP2.

IE starts up and attempts to load a page with the flag in the top right
corner spinning, however IE always displays a blank white page with an empty
status bar. The system has been checked for spyware and none found. The
internet connection itself is fine, other programs (Firefox, MSN Messenger
etc) have no problems connecting at all.
