Can't Open Remote Web via FP2000

Kevin

Hi

I am stuck in a loop trying to open a web from a remote
server in FP2000 on win98. I get the message "The folder
Etc etc isn't accessible etc etc." The wecerr.txt file
says "Unable to complete transaction - the server
requested authentication information (user id / password)
using an authentication scheme (negotiate) that is
unsupported by FrontPage". I can access my site via my ftp
software. I can't open the site through ie6 "edit using
FP".
Thanks

Being able to access a site via FTP, has no bearing on being able to access
the site via FP.

Contact your host and have them check permissions.

Do you have Norton internet security or any other firewall application
installed, etc.?
