problems opening web in FP2000

I am trying to open a web in FP2000. I have recently changed web hosts and I
assume this is the reason I can't open a web. I go to file / open web /
select website. It comes up with the message: The server sent a response
which FP could not parse. If you are trying to connect to a FP server, check
with ther server's admin to make sure FP extensions are installed properly (I
have been assured that they are installed properly). If I try to use a
different web (same site, different name), I get the message: the folder
"http://www.website.com" isn't accessible. The folder may be loacted on an
unavailbe volume or protected with a password. Is this my web hosts problem
or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,
Alison

Does the site open in Internet Explorer??

If so, in IE click File > Edit with FrontPage.

Also, open my network places and remove and references to the web site that may exist there and then
try.

Go here: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm
and download FP Cleaner ( it's free ) and run the functions
that clear the Cache {.web } files and the FrontPage Temporary files.
Tell it no, do not start FrontPage after you click the Close button.

Then Click Start > Run and type: cmd and then press OK

In the window that opens type: ipconfig /flushdns
and press enter
( note: there is a space between ipconfig and /flushdns )
When it's done close the command window
and open FrontPage and see what happens.
