Today, when I click on the icon of IExplorer on my desk
top, I got the following error message:

Cannot find'file:///C:/WINDOWS/secure/html'

Note the three / after file

I traced the properties of the icon to:
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\EXPLORE.EXE

and I am not able to delete or change it.

I can't reset my home page either.

I tried re-installing the IE6 but the problem is still
there.

What should I do.

I also noticed after opening Control Panel, I am not able
to open Add/delete Software window.

Help
