Cant open icons on desktop

When ever I open my PC and try to double click on explore
or my computer it just clears the icons you only see the
desktop and then it comes back and nothing opens.i cant
seem to open anything on my desktop on double
clicking,could someone help please!!!

It's caused by a spyware (Hungryhands?). Run Ad-Aware from www.lavasoftusa.com . Don't forget to update it.

To temporarily enable IE/Win Explorer/Folders functionality:

1. Click Start, Run, type INETCPL.CPL
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. Under Browsing, click to clear the Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart) check box.
