Using the suggestions in "Take back your life! Using Micosoft Outlook to get
organised and stay organised" (Sally McGhee, Micosoft Press), I would like to
list my supporting projects under my Objective task with a ranking, due dates
and person assigned (same with tasks and subtasks under my Project task).
Rather than having all this information as free text, I would like to insert
this information via an embedded excel document or word document (ideally it
would be good to have a table function inside the task). I can use insert
object and enter data into an embedded spreadsheet, but as soon as I click
out again, I cannot go in and edit it.
The other option is to hyperlink or attach a file, but I really want to see
the information on the face of the task to sort and copy and paste to other
tasks etc- not have to open up a separate document.
Any ideas why I can't edit the spreadsheet once embedded? Right click open
or edit functions are greyed out, and the Edit | Worksheet Object | Edit or
Open function doesn't seem to do anything.
Any thoughts out there?
