Need to insert documents in Tasks that update from Tasks or Docume

I have been inserting documents (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.) in each task so
that I can keep up with documents associated with specific tasks. However,
the inserted documents (a copy?) are not linked to the original.
Consequently, if I change the document embedded in a task, the original is
not updated. Is there a way to insert documents in tasks so that they update
the original and changes to the original update the version in a task? Thank
you.

Remove ABCD from Email address to reply

If you copy the entire document and then go into the task and do a "paste
special" under the Formatted text and then hit "paste link" it should work
the way you want.

Thank you. Quick follow-up; can the "insert" function be made to accomplish
the same task? Thanks again for the tip.

I would use Insert | File | as Hyperlink. then you have a link to the
original.
