can't move item from inbox to personal folder

I'm trying to move thee items (all with the same subject, but from two
different people) into a personal folder. I'm able to move everything else,
but these three items give me this error when I try to move them to the
personal folder:

"Can't move the items. The item could not be moved. It was either already
moved or deleted, or access was denied."

I've gotten this error before, but rarely. It seems that some emails are
just funky and won't be moved into my personal folder. I was able to move the
item around within my regular mailbox (from the inbox to another folder and
back again).

I did check the size of my personal folder. The total size is 363504Kb which
translates to 0.34666Gb. So I'm not to the 1.5Gb limit yet (I've read that
personal folders can become unstable at that point).

I was able to move other, larger and smaller, emails to my personal folder,
both before getting this error and after getting this error. It's only these
three emails that are giving me the error and won't go into the personal
folder.

I've tried holding down the Ctrl key when moving them in order to just move
a copy into the personal folder, but I got a similar error:

"Can't copy the items. Some items could not be copied. They were either
moved or deleted, or access was denied."

I'm stumped. Anyone have any ideas what else to try? These emails seem like
plain old emails. I've moved other emails from these same people into
personal folders before. They aren't huge, between 29-32Kb each. I'm using
Outlook 2003. I just upgraded from Outlook 2000 this month, and these emails
were recieved when I had Outlook 2000 in June. But I've been able to move all
the other hundreds of emails that I received in June over to my personal
folders with no issues.

Thanks for your help.
