Can't move favorites with IE7

D

DS

Hello,

A domain policy hide the drive C:\ for the users in our domain.
Only the admins can see and browse the drive C: .
All users have full control permissionais for their profile folder.

With IE 6, all users can full manage Favorites without any problem (add,
delete and move).

After installed IE 7, administrators still can full manage favorites, but
the other users only can add favorites and folders. Now, the others users
can't move favorites from one folder to another folder.

Do you have any idea?

We have Windows XP desktops.

Thanks and Best Regards
Duarte S.

Hello,

Sorry for that but I didn't know where to post a question about IE7...

You said: " => Those with IE7-specific questions or comments are asked to

(where you did NOT post)"

I'm accessing an posting in newsgroups with a web browser and not with a
newsgroup reader.
So, as you can see here, there aren't any
microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general :

Robear,

Probably because those aren't "managed newsgroups". <eg>
<snip>

I understand that. The fact that the default newsgroup for IE7 is NOT a
managed newsgroup is also stupid and shortsighted.

And, with all this discussion you think that you can help me about my problem
or I must post the same message also in
microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general ??
