Can't map a drive?

Hello,

We have a simple office LAN, W2K Server, about 6 workstations. Our Internet
connectivity is via Business DSL service. Up until a few weeks ago, we've
been able to map a drive from several home PCs (W2K, WinXP, Win98) into our
office server for file sharing. Suddenly, between Sunday/Monday, the drive
mapping doesn't work. When we try to map a drive, we get "server cannot be
found".

We've checked everything over and over; permissions, firewall, user
accounts, etc. Nothing has changed, and nothing seems to be wrong. Attention
has focused on our DSL modem/router, but our provide swears up and down that
router firewall is turned off, and no firmware changes have been installed.

I'm stumped. This was a very useful way for us to access our office server.
Any clues?

Thanks!

Try these from a Command Prompt, then post the results:

net use x: \\YourServer\SomeShare
net use y: \\192.168.0.100\SomeShare

Substitute the correct server address for "192.168.0.100".

I suggested two different commands. Your reply does not
indicated which command it applies to.
