is there a way to map a drive at startup, before logon?
we have 4 w2k advanced servers that run as application
servers, they are scheduled to reboot every weekend, some
of the files needed for the apps they host to run are on a
5th servers share, each of these app servers have to be
logged into on Monday morning before the maps are created,
and the map needs to be there before the apps have the
files they need. i have gone thru the steps to edit the
reg so that it forces a login at startup, but this regedit
leaves the admin password in plan text in the reg...so my
question is...is there a way to have drives mapped at
startup of the machine, and not at login ? ...
thanks
