Can't login to Xp from 2K

This sounds just like a lot of other problems. I have different machines
running 2K and one on XP going through a hub and router with auto IPs. All
can see the internet. I can see all the machines from XP and can see the XP
from the 2K but can't log in. from any 2k machine into the XP. On the XP I
put names and passwords to match the 2Ks but no luck. Were do I start?
