can't log-on

I gave my wifes new laptop a password to log-on, and it won't let us on. We
have tried everything, every possible password we can think of. Is there a
way to overide the password?

Hi, Richard.

Have you tried Null? That is, no password at all? Just press Enter?

Many new machines come with no password so that you can create your own.

I did that last night (it worked) I remembered that we changed the "password
hint" but left the "New Password" blank because we didn't want to change the
password, it loaded it as a "NULL" password" Thanks all
