I use a software called network viewer ( a cctv video player ) for my work
and have installed it on several pc's. It'll will not install on my new
laptop. The setup program will goto my desktop but when I try to install the
setup, I'll get the hourglass for 20 seconds and then it goes away. I am
logged on as the administrator. Can anyone help me.

Thank you!

I've spoke with tech support, they told me their software is made for and
works on all windows applications. I also met a rep in the field, this is the
first he has heard of the network viewer not working with windows xp

Then there is an issue with that particular model laptop and the
third-party software. Perhaps there is a driver conflict, or OEM
software conflict, or... This is something for your third-party
software company to figure out. Ask for a higher tier tech support and
be prepared to give them the specs of your laptop.
