Cant load new programs

i am running xp pro, and have loaded office 2000, paint shop pro, and printer
software with no problems, but quicken 2003, a brand new quicken 2005 and
another plugin both end up with amessage saying that the installation was
unsuccesful - right at the very end of the process.

there are no error codes or anything, it just pretty much says tough darts,
try again later.

i also was able to load AOL with no problem, as a test.

please help!!!!
