Can't load Multimedia Controller drivers

I rebuilt an enhanced PC using components from existing
machines...the objective was to get rid of the obsolete stuff and to
consolidate the best stuff I had. Everything seems to have gone
according to Hoyle except for the pesky multimedia and video media
controllers

I have installed the video card software but windows just can't find
the right files to load...even though I point the wizard at every
location with card files...this is an older Asus board using an AOpen
video card using NVIDIA Riva TNT2 drivers...got the latest available
drivers from AOpen and Nvidia. No joy.

What on earth is the wizard looking for?

Thanks for any help.

This closes thing. The Plug and play function didn't recognize a TV
tuner card. I moved it to another PCI slot, it was recongized, and the
drivers loaded OK. Problem with the driver install wizard is that it
does not identify exactly what device had triggered the request...and
it doesn't show up in the list of installed hardware....which makes no
sense since it must have detected the card in order to ask for the
drivers. Yet another bug, is suspect.
