cant load java applet

when i try to get into the yahoo games and when waitin to
screen to appear...the java applet dont want to load...i
did go into the advanced area of computer ..and it has
nothin there that has or states of java ....how do i get
java..and how do i install it and where do i install it
in my computer

Download and click on the file, and it will guide you through the
installation process. This is the standard version of JAVA, not
Microsoft's discontinued 'enhanced' version.

Go to www.sun.com & download it from there, normally install in program files folder, then re boot!

As the result of a lawsuit by Sun Microsystems, and the ensuing
settlement, Microsoft is no longer allowed to provide its own Java
Virtual Machine to Windows users. You can get almost the same
functionality by downloading Sun's version of Java from
http://java.sun.com/getjava/index.html. If you want the broader
capabilities of Microsoft's Java Virtual Machine, it is still
available from a lot of 3rd-party web sites, some of which are listed
here: http://www.java-virtual-machine.net/download.html.

If you do choose the Microsoft JVM, be sure to visit Windows
Update to apply a needed security patch.
