Can't install WIN XP PRO!.......PLEASE HELP!

I'm trying to install with the Windows XP in my CD-ROM drive and
DVD-R drive.....and both show this message....

Verifying DMI Pool Data...........
Boot from ATAPI CD-ROM
DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER

If I switch the XP CD and press enter.....the A: drive is
sounding.......but I don't have a floppy disk. I thought the XP CD
would work fine. I even tried with both drives while starting up the
computer and the same thing happened.

I have my CD-ROM and DVD-R drives both set as CS, and I also have my new
hard drive set as CS as well. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Mike you have posted this several times and been answered in those
posts. Try using a newsreader. These make it much easier to see your
original posts and keep all of it in one thread. XP comes with one,
Outlook express. Here's some info on how to use it for newsgroups.

Did you set the proper order of boot devices in the BIOS.........CD 1st boot
HD0 2nd boot??
The last time I had this sort of problem I found that my DVD recordable drive
did not like the CS setting and wanted to be the master on the 2nd IDE with the
DVD player being the slave.

Why have you got them set to cable select and not master/slave? If your hard
drive is the only hard drive in the system it should be set to master, not
cable select.
