Can't Install Updates & Software. - No logo test

I have started to get an error in XP Pro when I install
software saying "The software you are installing has not
passed the Windows logo test". Third party software can
still be installed, however MS stuff (updates, DirectX)
will not install.

Any help is appriciated.

Hi Tim,

This should correct the error message:
Go to Start/Run and type in: regsvr32 wintrust.dll

If not, run this script:

Correct the Cryptographic Service Error Message (Line 266)
