cant install q818529

im having trouble installing the patch q818529 it says
it requires ie6 sp1 to be installed which is what i have
the exact version is 6.0.2800.1106 which the knowledge
base article says is required.do i have to uninstall a
previous patch?

That's the silly message it gives if it or a later cumulative patch (like
824145) are already installed.
