can't install new software - help!!

I've tried to install new antivirus but got an error
message. Updated Windows xp from original CD, but it
deleted all my internet connections. Tried to re install
BT braodband connection and got error message ... what's
wrong???

Thanks Wes, I agree with you that I probably have a virus
(if not more than one!). The problem is that now I can't
connect to the internet at all (I'm writing this from my
office), so I'm not sure what to do .... I'm so desperate
I'm thinking about formatting everything!

the disk home and run it on your machine.
