Can't Install Driver

I had to install the full version of XP Professonal.I
downloaded the driver for my Philip;s monitor, but
Windows is not recognizing it. I've gone through the
Device Manager and Add New Hardware without success. Any
help on getting this driver installed?
 
Is the monitor working fine without those specific drivers. Usually, for
monitors, the default drivers that come with XP are all that is necessary.
If you are having an issue or there are unsupported features, you would need
to check with the monitor manufacturer, the provider of the drivers for your
monitor to help with this issue.
