can't install a game get eror 1606

I just installed xp on my computer and tried to install
doom 3 and I got this eror 1606 could no access network
location <common administrative tools>.all users\. then
when I cancelled it it gave me Falal error-1603 Consult
windows installer help (Msi.chm) or MSDN for more
information. The reason I installed xp professional was
so I could play doom 3. How ironic. Please help

You didn't need to install XP Pro to play Doom3! Doom3 runs fine on XP
Home. What it needs is powerful hardware. Check on the game's site for
system requirements and known issues, etc.
