For some reason when I right click on a web page or
select View/Source, absolutley nothing happens. I do
have notepad on my system. I was expecting a notepad
window to open up with the html content displayed. But
nothing,,, I mean, nothing happens.

What can possibly be wrong? Is there an option somewhere
I don't have set?

I have IE 6.0 and windows xp. I know I used to be able
to do it... why not now?

I don't check this newsgroup so it would be great that if
someone has some suggestion, please email me directly at
(e-mail address removed).

I really appreciate any help I can get....

Clear your Temporary Internet Files
Open up Internet Explorer - From the top Menu
Tools -> Internet Options -> Delete Files -> Hit the okay button
You can also access it via Start -> Control Panel -> Internet Options ->
Delete Files

Once you have cleared your temporary internet files the problem should go
away

A Tip
If you have a large hard drive like a 20GB hard drive after you have deleted
the files and IE has returned to normal go to
Tools -> Internet Options -> Settings button -? there is a section called
"Temporary Internet files folder" and it will have a number
if it is greater then 1000MB or 1GB then try setting it to something smaller
like 250 - 500MB. This may cause the problem to happen less often

This is usually fixed by emptying the Temporary Internet Files.

Also, if you have a shortcut to Notepad on your desktop rename it to Npad.

Some people have reported that Quick View Plus can cause this.
