View Source no longer works

I am running IE 6.0 on XP SP 2. Sometimes View Source
works and sometimes it doesn't. When it does not work
there is no error message and nothing pops up. Under
Options, Programs, the HTML editor is set to Notepad.
Notepad works fine when I run it manually.

I have Netscape installed but IE is the default browser.

I really need View Source to work as I am a web developer.

Hi,
First, clear the IE cache. IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete
files (and delete offline content.) It's often recommended that the TIF
folder be kept at about 50 MB (Settings.)

If you have a shortcut to Notepad.exe on the desktop, rename it.

Some people have reported that Quick View Plus can cause this
