Can't get to system Resore

I can no longer get to "System Restore" through the Help and Support Center
(Start-->Help and Support) on XP Pro, SP2, all up to date. It also won't go
to "Use Tools to View Your Computer". The other links on the Help and
Support site seem to work.

I found the "rstrui.exe" file for System Restore and I can get to it by
executing that file, and all the restore points are there. Must be something
broken in Help and Restore.

Is there a registry fix for this? I have searched everywhere in the
Microsoft KB and in Google but can't find it.

Thanks.

Ken,

Have you installed Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview, by chance?

Yes! Is that the problem with getting to Restore?

Also, could that have something to do with why some MS update downloads,
like in Defender with the OneCare beta, don't "take?"

Ramesh,

Yes, that's it--I went to the sites, then uninstalled the IE7 Beta, and the
Help and Support Center functions all work again. I can't tell yet if the
Defender Beta update will hold--doesn't look as though it does, though. But
the OneCare and Defender are beta, too.

Thanks again.
