Can't get to Explorer from links

When I'm sent an email with web links, I can't click on the link to get to
the web page. I used to be able to. One day, about a week ago, it stopped
working.

When I click on the link I get nothing.

any ideas????

I am using XP, Oulook Express.

I can't seem to find a path that would help me turn off an antiphising
function.

Ironic ---- I'm suppose to click a link in the email I received in order to
keep getting answers .... but the link'd don't work!
