Cant get sky email to download to Vista

I have just moved to Sky broadband, and got a new PC at the same time. I have
had trouble with the Sky email log in passwords but now it seems to accept
the one I have first time. I am trying to get my Vista email to accept the
Sky email address but when it ask me for the password and username, it keeps
rejecting it. Sky dont want to know as its Windows Vista email, but I have
followed all the Sky help and it doesnt advise. Any ideas greatfully received

Yes I have followed all the instructions, with both pop and imap, and it
still asks me my server password, and when i put it in it just asks me again.
Vrey frustrating

Some email servers require you to enter your username with no spaces and
no CAPITAL LETTERS. Some require that you follow it with the part of
your email address that starts with @, and some require that you don't.
Many require that you be careful about which letters of your password are
CAPITAL and which are lowercase. Many give rather vague error
messages if they find anything at all wrong with your username and password,
to avoid helping anyone trying to guess usernames and/or passwords.

If you click Cancel, does it give you a more complete error message?
If so, post that error message here.

Which antivirus are you running? Some of them are not very compatible
with Windows Mail. As a minimum, email scanning in the antivirus must be
disabled.
