can't get my internet windows to resize

I don't know if I may have downloaded something to change
the settings for internet explorer, but every time I open
a new window in internet explorer the window is very
small. Where can I go to change the settings for this so
when I open a new window it will be of "normal" size?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
 
Hi Derek,

Try stretching the window to full size using the double arrows, then
File/Close.
