Cant get exchange account to set up - URGENT!!!

Hello,

I have a new laptop running Vista Ultimate 64bit with Office Standard 2007.
When I try to set-up my Exchange account I get an error that states "I can
not set-up an exchange account with outlook running, go to my control panel
and set it up by clicking on the mail icon"

I go to my control panel, switch to classic view and I don't have a "mail"
icon anywhere. It lists them alphabetacally and it goes from Keyboard to
Mouse.

No Mail icon at all.

Now what do I do?

Thanks in advance

64bit control panel, & not the one you are currently viewing
(I dont have 64 bit so I cannot tell you how to locate it)

So, there are two control panels in Vista Ultimate? The regular one and the
one for 64bit?

Only if it's the 64 bit Vista. If so, there's the "regular" one and then
there's a "32 bit" one.

Did you ever get help on this. I have the exact same issue and found your
posting identical to my problem - I still cannot resolve my problem. Please
advise.
