cant get outlook to even start up

just installed MS office professional- using vista home prem 64 bit
When i try to open outlook i get a window saying
*connecting to microsoft exchange- microsoft exchange unavailable*
if i click work offline- it says *can not open your default e-mail folders
your profile is not configured-*
i have configured my hot mail acct ect.
one video says to got to control panel and open *email* there but i dont see
an icon for it
And help appreciated

Have you downloaded Microsoft Office Outlook Connector 12.1? The link
for this download is here:

When you have downloaded it, you need to run it so that it installs on
your system. Then you will be able to download your message folders
from MS servers.

Please let us know if you still have any problems.
