CAN'T GET DISK CLEANUP TO WORK!!!

hi, Happy New Year

Simply this DISK CLEANUP HAS NEVER COMPLETED NOT ONCE!!

I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO SEE THE RESULTS OF DISK CLEANUP!

I've had this unit for 18 Months and the Windows
Temporary Files must be huge but I don't know what to do!

It has never gone beyond 3 lights of maybe 35 on the gauge

PLease Advise

Line 48, Right column "Disk Cleanup - Compress..."
Save on Desktop.
Double click the icon once downloaded.
The icon can then be discarded.

I had the same problem, but it would eventually get past
the initial "Compressing Files" status box (after about
an hour)

In case you were considering it, I would not recommend
selecting the "Compress Old Files in the Disk Cleanup".
Once the files are compacted, they will stay compacted
forever, until you manually uncompact them (either
individually or using the DOS Compact command.
