Help,

Running windows 98se, using epson color 600 printer (5 yrs
old) all of a sudden whenever I try to print the despooler
icon has the international "no" sign on it and I get a
message that the despooler cen't print the doc. I have
tried uninstalling & re-installing the software. The
printer properties say that the printer is OK, device
manager indicates it's ok, spool manager shows ok....but
nothing will print. That is except the nozzle test pattern!

Any ideas?????????????

Thanks
Elaine

I have a picture of the printer (the Despooler) with the International NO
symbol across it on my screen. How can I clear this?

Check the Spool Manager to make sure the correct settings are enabled. Check
to see if the Spool Manager is Held. Delete any queued print jobs and remove
the check mark from the word "Hold" under the Queue menu. Make sure there is
paper loaded in the printer and try printing again.
