We use outlook 2003 with exchange. Our public folders are where we store
most of our data. We would like to send data to these folders via an email
address. It is my understanding that all of them have an address.

When I: right click on the folder -> properties ->administration tab ->
contacts button

I would assume that an address to this folder would ba added to my local
contacts folder. This is not happening on any of our machines. I have
checked all of my email address books as well. No luck. I am not sure if
the address is just going somewhere I am not checking, or if there is some
kind of bug preventing the email address from being posted anywhere at all.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Nope - Outlook doesn't add the address to your contacts folder that way.
You'll have to do it manually. Just make sure that the public folder has an
address.

If you're using Outlook 2003 it may be better to just type the e-mail
address in the TO: field manually one time then it should appear
automatically as an auto-suggest address from then on.

Thanks you so much.

I might sound stupid now, but how do I find out what the address is to the
folder(s)?

Thanks
