Can't find Format\Group - Format\ unGroup in Office 2007 Ribbon

all,
Does anyone have any idea where the group/ungroup controls command went in the new MS Access? I'm sure it's staring me right in the face but I've looked at every control in the design and arrange ribbons and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. - CES

Are you trying to create a ribbon from scratch and / or author your
own Ribbon?
Or alternatively, are you just trying to re-arrange the existing
Ribbon?

http://accessribbon.de/en/?Downloads#3 has some excellent resources
for Working with Ribbons.

Nothing so exotic... I'm just trying to find the Format\(Group \ Ungroup) commands that was formally under the Format Menu Item. – CES

LOL, Trust me to go to the exotic.

Highlight the controls you wish to Group / Ungroup
In the Form Design Tools under arrange, there is an icon (next to Snap
to Grid) that looks like 2 squares.

That's your group / ungroup ribbon shortcut.

Hope that helps.

Thank you I never would have found it - CES

Hi,
I understand that you would like to find Group / Ungroup Controls command
in Access 2007.
If I have misunderstood, please let me know.

From my research, Group / Ungroup commands are not existed in Acess 2007
but in Excel 2007. I also checked that in Acess 2003, but I do not find
Group\Ungroup commands in the Format menu.
Are you sure that they are in Access?

Have a good day!

Best regards,

You can group and ungroup object in MS Access so that you can move
them etc as one object.

This is available in MS Access 2003 (can't remember where the option
was though) as well as 2007 (in the area I described above)

Hope this helps you.

Hi, Anthos and Jeff,
Thank you for your clarification.

I am sorry for the inaccurate information here. I looked through the
threads and I found that I missed reading Anthos's thread at first. I find
Group and Ungroup button under Design View-> Arrange tab -> left to "Snap
to Grid" and "Tab Order". It is my shame. I was arranged to be a backup of
the Access support professionals since they are on Chinese Spring Festival
vacation this week, but I am not an Access expert before.

Anyway, thanks for your pointing out.

Have a good day!
