Can't find file--HELP!

I am having a problem with the Explore function in MS Windows 2K. When I
try to open an Excel file from the Explore window, I get a "Cannot find the
file filename (or one of its components)."

When I go to open the file from the Excel drop down the file is there and
opens fine.
 
Hi Gerald
goto 'Tools-Options-General " and uncheck "Ignore other Applications"
Exit Excel and try again
