I am running Pro version SP 3. All updates are applied.
I can't find my cookies folder. I have show hidden folders selected and
looked in documents and settings under my user name. I can't see the cookies
folder but if I try to paste a cookies folder into the directory I am warned
that a cookies folder already exists.
Any ideas why I can't see the folder.
I wonder if this is why I can't save passwords.
Thanks, Jay

The folder is probably hidden. When you tick the box "Show hidden folders"
(Tools / Folder Options / View) then you will be able to see it.

I already have that checked.

For which Web browser?

If IE, try this:

Tools | Internet Options | Browsing History | Settings | View Files

This will bring up a Windows Explorer window which will contain all your
current IE cookies (and other files). Note the address bar. The location
will be:

C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Local Settings\Temporary Internet
Files

The Temporary Internet Files is a special kind of hidden folder. The
other way to show it:

Windows Explorer | Tools | Folder Options... | View

Then uncheck the box next to:
Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)

Thank you Daave. I missed that one.
I can see it now.
