can't enable macros

Rick

New to writing macros in PowerPoint. When I open my saved presentation, the
run button on the macros is greyed out. Trying to run from the VBA window
gives me the message that macros are disabled. Tried setting security to
low as per the Help advice. Still no luck. What am I missing?

After setting the security settings, did you close PowerPoint and reopen
your presentation. Once the presentation is opened with macros disabled it
won't run the macros until reopened. Additionally, once reopen it, make
sure the macros are still there. If you had saved it with macros disabled,
it could strip the macros out. If none of that works, try going to the Help
menu and choosing Detect and Repair.
