cant download

for some reason i am not able to download anything now. When i try to
download i save to my desktop, and after the download is complete there is
nothing there. I have looked in temp files but nothing there either.
Can anyone help me with this

I have heard that Windows Defender may cause that strange behaviour. Have
you installed Windows Defender, by chance?

yes i have, i will get rid of it, hopefully that will help
