Can't download files using IE6 Service Pack II

Hello,
Just since a couple of days I am not able to download files from
the Internet. The download dialog started. I choose where to save the
file and everything looks normal. But when the download completes as
normal, there is no file downloaded. This is happen with all kind of
files. I tried to run .exe file without saving. It downloads and then
prompts me to confirm to run the program, after I confirm again nothing
happen.

Just before the download started, there is a quick small popup appears
that say unknown zone and goes a way.

My security setup is the default.

Sorry, I found where was the problem. I uninstalled window defender
beta version, and everything worked fine after that.
