Can't download printer diver to Vista laptop

Trying to hook up Lexmark X1150 printer to Windows Vista laptop. The driver
for that printer is not in the computer, even though about 100 other drivers
for Lexmark printers are in the computer.

We found the driver at the Lexmark site, but every time we start to save it
we get a message that says:

"Internet Explorer can't download cjr1100EN.exe from downloaddelivery.com
The connection with the server was reset."

There's no explanation of why it can't download, and what it means that "the
connection with the server was reset."

The Lexmark help page said one reason for the failed download might be that
there is another Lexmark printer installed on the computer. But that is not
the case here.

Any ideas what to do next?

Larry, for Vista 32 bit it's called cjrX1100EN.exe and it downloaded
fine here a minute ago, and I think having a Lexmark printer already
installed would have not effect whatsoever on your trying to download
something with IE. I assume the missing X in your post was merely a typo.

Can you download anything else with a .exe extension using IE?

I'm using Firefox on Linux so it's vaguely possible that something on
that page is annoying IE when it comes to downloading it but I rather
doubt that. You could try installing Firefox to see if IE is the
problem, or clear the temporary internet files in IE and try again.
