Cannot install Lexmark Printer P3120

I have a new HP Pavillion a6110n Desktop PC with Vista. I have installed the
Lexmark software, including running a compatibility with Windows Vista which
produced no error problems. But the printer will not scan/print nor will it
print from a document. No error messages come up. I checked Lexmark.com for
downloads, but none indicated for this printer

Lexmark Support has informed me: I regret to inform you that the
hardware/technology of this printer would not support the 32/64 bit processes
of the Vista OS. That is why there will be no driver developed for this
machine.

Am I forced to now buy a new printer? And what do I do with this one - it
works perfectly fine! Thank you.

Well, Lexmark developed it and they know their product and if they they said
its not compatible, its just not compatible and you will have to purchase a
new printer that is compatible with the OS. The only thing I can recommend
trying is a printer driver that closest the P3120 model.

Thank you for your quick response - I checked Lexmark and do not see any that
are close to the P3120. Off to shop.... Thx again.
