Can't delete some recent URLs

Hi!

I run the Swedish version of Internet Explorer and don't
know the exact English names for this. But there are some
URLs stuck in the Internet Explorer recent URLs archive.
They are stuck even though I delete recent visited URLs
and other URLs disappear.

How do I delete these URLs?

Hi Lenny - If you're talking about URL's in the dropdown list:

To delete Addresses in the Drop Down list, go here and download and install
Mike Burgess' DelTypedURL .inf:
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/download.htm

You can also get DelSearchMRU.inf here also to eliminate the Search Drop
Down history.

Note: this does not remove entries entered via AutoComplete. To remove
hidden AutoComplete entries in History:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm#AutoComplete


IMPORTANT NOTE: Be sure that ALL instances of IE6 are CLOSED before you do
the install of this(these) .inf files.

A nice alternative just for selective or all Address (not Search) history
maintenance is EditURLs, here: http://www.aandrc.com/editurls/ Here also,
you must close all instances of IE6 for the deletions to "take".
Recommended.
