can't delete newsgroup messages?

After my puter crashed, I have had to start from scratch and I can't delete
mesages from newsgroups anymore can anyone help me ? TIA willow

If you mean the local copy, and are using Outlook Express, highlight the item and click on the red
X that you see above.
That works in version 6.00.2800.1123.
