Can't delete message from folder Inbox

A solution seems to be posted a few times a day, but not in response
to you yet. Check answers to people with similar problems (in any
folder).
 
Read responses to posts similar to yours.
The solution is always:

Use this Microsoft fix:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090
"Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a
computer that is running Windows Vista"

Although Outbox is the only folder mentioned, it will remove stuck
messages from all folders.

This problem is usually caused by running non-compatible
third party security software.
 

Try reading the answers to other people's problems here. About a
dozen a day get an answer to that problem.
 
Which antivirus programs if any do you have? Some of the
common ones, such as most of those from Norton or McAfee
cause various problems in Windows Mail, although seldom
immediately.

Download and install this fix, with Windows Mail not running:

Although it's labelled as for messages stuck in the Outbox,
it also works for other folders. If you don't know
whether to use the 32-bit version or the 64-bit version,
try the 32-bit version first.
 

Probably interference from an antivirus program.

Thanks!!!! after nearly a year of putting up with several stuck emails they
are gone! Installed the repair from microsoft and i hit the email delete
button...gone!! magic. WEll done and thanks!!
 
I cannot delete a message from my inbox. When I try to delete I get a
message "Unknown error has occurred"

Can anyone tell me how to get this one message out of my inbox, Please????
