Can't delete folder

Logged on as administrator could not delete a users folder in his favorites
folder
Logged on as user still could not delete folder.
Folder was created by user.
As administrator could delete other user created folders.

Hi,

Boot tapping the F8 key as BIOS info goes by.
At the Boot Menu select Safe Mode. At the Welcome
screen select (the hidden) "Administrator". Try
deleting the folder in question from there.

Try taking ownership of the folder (and all sub-folders), giving
yourself rights and then try to delete the folder. if it doesn't work,
give us the exact error message.
