Can't delete files or folders.

I think a directory on my HD got corupted, and I can't delete the direcory or access the folder anymore. It keeps saying access denied. Im logged on as administrator. Is there any program I can use that will get by XP restrictions on files. Ive tried safemode, and changed the directorys attribs, ran scandisk nothing I do will allow me to delete that directoy.
 
Search Google for info on the command "cacls" with which you can set
permissions to allow access to these files and folders.
