can't delete file

i can't delete a file which is sitting in the 'cd burning folder' it has a
size of 0kb and is causing me to not be able to use the cd rom. i get a
'error deleting file or folder- cannot find the specified file' after
attempting to delete temp files in the cd burning dialogue. the file (i
thought) was deleted and the recycle bin eptied previously. i can find the
file using active@undelete but cannot get rid of it! it is not visible even
when hidden files are shown. if i can't see the file how can i delete it? the
'cd burning' folder shows nothing in it, would it be worth deleting the
folder in safe mode then creating a new folder with the same name? please
help, it's driving me mad!

wow, that seem a bit scary! i still do not know how to get to a 'command
prompt' this is further than i have been before-please understand my

Command Prompt:

Start, select All Programs, Accessories folder - you'll see the command prompt listed
there.

Another way, is Start, run, type: cmd


Glad you were impressed with the little utility - I was too when I was in a similar
situation as yourself. I always give the warning because you should be very careful
when using such a utility.
